If they create a document in word 2010 and it has a bit of colour in, the print preview shows it in all its glory, But as the printer is set to Black and White is comes out in TADAAA black and white. If document is a word document try the following:

If you want to save the document under another Name.

I’ve checked in my printer and there is no way to set to print B&W only.
The only other way is to scan document save as a *jpeg* image Then use
’Graphic Converter to convert to B&W or Gray scale then Print it out.
